The Russian Air Force has being carrying out rehearsals ahead of the Victory Day military parade in Moscow. Twenty-eight planes are due to fly over Red Square on May 9 in a spectacular display that has been several months in the planning.

Russia's long-range fleet and top aerobatic teams have been refining their airborne skills. Practice sessions were carried out simultaneously at three different aerodromes in the Moscow and Kaluga regions. The rehearsals will continue throughout the week.
