Moscow and Singapore are the two cities left in the running to host the first ever Youth Olympic Games.

The International Olympic Committee whittled down a shortlist of five cities – Turin, Bangkok, Moscow, Athens and Singapore – to two, deeming that Moscow and Singapore are the areas to present the least risk in terms of safety and ability to raise funds. The winner will be announced on February 21.
