“We are going to have a preliminary discussion now, and the final stand will be formulated at the CSTO summit in Moscow,” Medvedev said. He added the international problems will be the focus of the summit. The Armenian President has said in his turn that he regrets the tragic events in South Ossetia. Sargsyan has offered his condolences to the Russian President in connection with the death of Russian citizens in South Ossetia during the conflict. He also said he is going to discuss economic issues and the development of cooperation between Russia and Armenia with Dmitry Medvedev The CSTO was established by the former Soviet Union republics on the basis of the Collective Security Treaty signed on May 15, 1992. The Organisation includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
