Russian Muslims have gathered in the center of Moscow to say “No” to those who associate Islam with terrorism.
Organizers of the rally say they are worried about a possible wave of xenophobia following recent attacks across the country.
Demonstrators carried banners stating “terrorism has no faith and no nationality”.
Earlier, President Yunus–Bek Yevkurov of the Republic of Ingushetia, a region struck by the latest wave of violence, told RT that those connecting Islam and violence are deeply mistaken.
