Two Russian actors and a director of photography have been awarded with Silver Bears at the prestigious Berlinale Film Festival that is wrapping up in German capital.
Grigory Dobrygin and Sergey Puskepalis were recognised for their performances in the movie “How I Ended This Summer” directed by Aleksey Popogrebsky.
The director of photography Pavel Kostomarov was recognized for his outstanding artistic contribution.
The film tells the story of two people battling extreme conditions at a polar station in the Arctic Ocean.
The winners thanked the crew, who spent three months working on the film at an operational station in the very north of Russia.
