Seven people, including two children, have been killed in a car crash in the Sverdlovsk region, about 2,000 km east of Moscow. Two more have been injured.
The tragedy occurred early Sunday morning, according to the spokesperson of Russian Emergency Ministry.
One of the cars had six occupants, all of whom died. The driver of a second car was also killed, while the two passengers have been hospitalized.
“Emergency workers had to cut open the wrecked cars to take the injured and the bodies,” the spokesperson said.
According to preliminary information, one of the cars lost control and went to the oncoming traffic in unfavorable weather conditions.
