A suspected Russian drug dealer is accused of forcing his 70-year-old mother to use drugs to keep her away from his unlawful business.
The 40-year old man was arrested in the Republic of Tatarstan, central Russia, LifeNews tabloid reports. He is accused of taking away his mother’s pension, adding synthetic drugs to her food and giving her injections to make her unconscious.The elderly widow of a war veteran believed her son was giving her injections with medicines to help her. Experienced officers from the drug control police admitted they had never seen such an old drug abuser.“The pensioner found in the apartment answered questions, not adequately, she was stoned” – police said. “Drug tests showed nothing – synthetics leave no traces in the body. But in her veins, we found numerous traces of injections.”Police say the suspect had been selling synthetic stimulant drug N-methylephedrone and that he kept his stash hidden and received online payments for it. “She always swore that her son was involved in illegal business, said the old lady’s close friend. He beat her at the beginning, and then started to make her drug injections. Poor thing, she walked like mad, laughed all the time. We did not understand what was going on with her, but then we realized what the reason was.” During a search of the apartment, officers reportedly found four packages of narcotics and two dozen knives. According to neighbors, the man always carried with him a cold weapon.The widow now lives with her daughter. She is currently goes through medical examination before receiving treatment for drug addiction.
