A mysterious cylinder has fallen on a tiny village in Siberia, causing widespread speculation as to what it is.
Local journalists say it might be part of the Meridian satellite, which fell back to Earth after a failed launch last year, or a fragment of a ballistic missile. Tests show that the object is not radioactive, and it appears to be made of a titanium alloy.
