WikiLeaks announces release of CIA paper
The whistle-blowing website that angered the Pentagon by publishing 90,000 secret US files is now set to reveal a CIA paper.
Earlier, WikiLeaks announced it would publish the document on August 25, without, however, giving any details of its contents. The announcement comes as the founder and editor-in-chief of the website, Julian Assange, is under investigation in Sweden on suspicion of molestation.
Two women have claimed they were sexually attacked by Assange. Swedish authorities issued an arrest warrant following rape allegations against him last week, but it was later withdrawn due to lack of evidence.
Assange denies the charges and calls them part of a “smear campaign” against him.
