Turkish military says 2 soldiers killed in N. Iraq
Two Turkish soldiers were killed by an improvised explosive device in northern Iraq on Monday, the Turkish armed forces have confirmed. The military said that eight militants had also been killed in air raids that followed a clash with armed forces, Reuters reports. Earlier reports said that two soldiers had died as a result of an explosion in Turkey’s southeastern province of Hakkari, near the Iraqi border.
