Double blast in Kirkuk, Iraq kills at least 5, injures 20+

At least five people have been killed and over 20 injured after twin bombing attacks in the Iraqi city of Kirkuk, Reuters cites police and medical sources as saying. “The explosions were suicide attacks,” a police source told Kurdistan 24. The assaults targeted a Shiite mosque on Atlas Street in the city center, the Iraqi interior ministry said.
