Turkey expects the European Union to provide the remaining portion of a €3 billion (US$3.53 billion) payment pledged under a migrant deal by the end of 2017, Reuters reported, citing the text of a speech by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Thursday. Ankara also expects a further €3 billion to be allocated by the end of 2018, Cavusoglu said in the text of the speech, which he was making to a parliamentary budget commission.
