US military dominance ‘eroded,’ says top general

The era of US military dominance is coming to an end due to Russian and Chinese improvements in tactics and technology, warned Marine Corps General Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Speaking at the Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Massachusetts this week, Dunford said the US’s “competitive advantage has eroded, and it's no longer as decisive as it was some years ago."
