At least 5 dead after suicide blast in Pakistan
A suicide bomber struck an auxiliary security forces convoy in Pakistan’s southwestern Baluchistan province on Saturday, killing at least five and injuring some 20 people. The incident took place as the convoy was driving through the city of Quetta, Anadolu Agency reported citing security officials. While the attacker reportedly targeted the vehicle of a security forces commander, the majority of the victims were civilians, according to the local officials. The Pakistani branch of the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack, AA reported, citing a statement issued by the Islamist group.
