Putin to address Bishop’s Council of Russian Orthodox Church
President Vladimir Putin will address the Bishop’s Council of the Russian Orthodox Church on Friday, the Kremlin’s press service said. On Wednesday, Putin sent a message of greetings to participants in the Council, which is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the restoration of patriarchate in Russia. In the message, the president noted the Russian Orthodox Church’s contribution to the preservation of interethnic peace and harmony, and to dialogue with the state on crucial issues for the country, TASS reported.
