Soyuz rocket launches Russian military satellite into space – MoD

A medium-class Soyuz 2.1b rocket has lifted off on Saturday from the Russian military cosmodrome in Plesetsk, delivering a military satellite into orbit, the Defense Ministry said. This is the fourth launch carried out at Plesetsk cosmodrome this year. The previous launch from the spaceport took place in September, when a similar rocket took off with a Glonass-M navigation satellite on board.
