6.0 magnitude earthquake strikes Eсuador
A 6.0 quake hit the western Ecuadorian province of Manabi on Sunday, according to USGS (United States Geological Survey) data. Having originated at the depth of around 25 kilometers (15 miles), the epicenter of the quake is closest to the city of Bahia de Caraquez with a population of some 37,000. The capital of Ecuador, Quito, is almost 200 kilometers (124 miles) away. There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
