5.2 quake rattles northwest China

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake has struck in China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). The quake, centered in Yecheng County, Kashgar, struck at a depth of 87 kilometers, CGTN reports. There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage.
