Russian special forces neutralize terrorist cell in Stavropol
Russian special forces have neutralized a gang of suspected terrorists in the Northers Caucasus city of Stavropol who were planning to “commit terror acts in public places,” the Federal Security Service (FSB) has announced. The unit managed to track down three suspects in a residential house in the regional capital of the Stavropol region. After affording the extremists the option to lay down their arms and surrender, FSB officers stormed the residence, successfully “neutralizing” three terrorist gang members. No civilians were harmed in the counter-terrorism operation.
