Russia wants better relations with EU despite possible extension of sanctions – Kremlin
Russia continues to work on building relations with the EU despite a possible extension of sanctions, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday. “We still regret and we believe that such decisions run counter to the interests of the EU member countries and Russia,” TASS quoted him as saying. Russia still considers these sanctions illegal and wrong, Peskov said. “Yet, we are still on a course for better relations with Brussels that now leave much to be desired,” he added.
