The 72nd truck convoy of the Russian Emergencies Ministry has arrived in Donbass, eastern Ukraine, TASS reported Thursday. The trucks have arrived in Donetsk and Lugansk, and the humanitarian aid is now being unloaded at local warehouses, a representative of the ministry’s press service said. The convoy delivered around 450 tons of humanitarian aid, including food kits for children, medicines, medical equipment, educational books and New Year gifts. The aid will be distributed among Donbass social facilities and people in need. The trucks will later cross the border at the Donetsk and Matveyev Kurgan checkpoints and head to the Donskoy Rescue Center in the southern Russian region of Rostov, according to the report.
