Zeman wins Czech presidential election run-off – preliminary results
The incumbent Czech President Milos Zeman has taken the lead in the presidential election run-off with his competitor, Jiri Drahos. In a tight race, Zeman received the backing of almost 52 percent of voters while his opponent secured about 48 percent of the votes, local media report with 97 percent of votes counted. Drahos has already conceded defeat to Zeman.
