Twelve children were killed when a train crashed into a school van in northern India, AP reported, citing police. The van driver was also killed, according to top police officer O.P. Singh. An additional 12 children were injured and taken to a hospital in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh state. They were on their way to school when the incident occurred.
