The Russian Security Service (FSB) said on Friday that it has detained five members of the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) terrorist organization, adding that the detainees had planned attacks in Russia. The suspects were detained on May 3-4 in the city of Yaroslavl, according to the statement. It said that the coordination of the preparation for terrorist attacks in Russia was partially carried out from abroad. During the searches, an arsenal of improvised explosive devices, explosives, firearms and ammunition was seized, the FSB said.
