EU leaders will discuss on Wednesday shielding European companies, doing business with Iran, from possible US sanctions after Washington withdrew from the nuclear agreement, Reuters quoted a senior official as saying. The heads of bloc’s executive European Commission and the foreign service, Jean-Claude Juncker and Federica Mogherini, will brief all 28 EU leaders on options available when they meet over dinner in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, on Wednesday evening, according to the official. Britain’s Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said earlier London will discuss ways to protect companies doing business with Iran at a meeting with counterparts from France and Germany on Tuesday.
