Russia and Rwanda discuss air-defense systems supplies
Russia and Rwanda have good cooperation in the military-technical sphere, and Russian-developed vehicles in service in the country’s army may soon get new additions, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Sunday. “The supplies of air-defense systems are currently being discussed,” the top Russian diplomat said during a press briefing with his Rwandan counterpart Louise Mushikiwabo. The two countries are also ready to cooperate in relation to the peaceful use of nuclear energy, with Lavrov calling for the transformation of the agreements “into concrete steps” in the area.
