Singapore to spend around $20mn to host Kim-Trump summit
Singapore’s prime minister, Lee Hsien Loong, revealed on Sunday that the highly-anticipated summit between North Korean leader Kin Jong-un and US President Donald Trump will cost “plus or minus, around $20 million.” However, the amount is a “contribution to an international endeavor that’s in our profound interest,” the minister stressed. The leaders arrived in Singapore earlier in the day and are expected to meet on Tuesday morning.
