An eighth boy has been rescued from the flooded Tham Luang cave in northern Thailand, according to media reports citing witnesses. Thai authorities launched the daring rescue operation on Sunday, saying that the conditions were “most suitable” for evacuation. Four boys and their football coach remain stranded in the flooded cave. Rescuers are racing against the weather as monsoon storm clouds could bring rain at any moment, which would further flood the cave. A total of 90 divers – 50 foreign and 40 Thai – are involved in the mission.
