Death toll in jihadist attack in southwest Syria rises to 215
The death toll has risen to 215 after a series of coordinated attacks in the government-held part of southwestern Syria by the terrorist group Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS), Syrian health officials reported late on Wednesday. The attacks also left 180 people injured in the Sweida governorate, updates reveal. The jihadist group lost 75 fighters during the wave of violence.
