At least three injured in ‘complex attack’ in eastern Afghanistan
Gunfire and several explosions were heard in Jalalabad city of eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday, according to Afghan media citing local officials. The “complex” attack, believed to be carried out by insurgents, targeted the Ministry of Public Health’s midwife training center and left at least three people injured, according to Tolo. Pajhwok put the number of casualties at 4 citing police.
