Iran mulls ways to sell oil if Europe supports US sanctions
“We are hopeful that the European countries can meet their commitments but even if they can’t, we are seeking solutions to sell our oil and transfer its revenues,” Iranian Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Sunday, as quoted by state news agency IRNA. Washington had earlier announced plans to eliminate Tehran’s revenue from oil exports. Iran also said that no OPEC member can take over its share of oil exports, as Saudi Arabia offered to pump more oil in response to US sanctions on Iran.
