Bodies of 3 family members found in wreckage of Genoa bridge collapse
The bodies of three members of the same family have been discovered in the wreckage of the Genoa bridge collapse, bringing the total death toll to 43, the local government has confirmed, as cited by Reuters. The bodies were discovered in a car which was crushed beneath slabs of concrete. The Genoa prefecture added that nine people are still in hospital after part of the Morandi bridge gave way in busy traffic on Tuesday. All of those listed missing have now been accounted for, but fire brigade official Stefano Zanut told Sky TG24 that rescue teams will continue searching. "We won't stop. Our work continues in order to have the full certainty that nobody has been left under the rubble," he said.
