Moscow and Beijing are working out joint actions at the UN Security Council that will give impetus to the process of resolving the situation on the Korean Peninsula, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov said on Thursday. The diplomat, who had visited China earlier, said that the two sides discussed problems of a Korean settlement. “We regularly hold contacts with our Chinese partners on this topic,” he said, according to TASS. The settlement of the situation on the peninsula and the lifting of sanctions against North Korea are interrelated processes, Morgulov said.
