Law enforcement said they have found evidence that two men, who were killed during an overnight firefight in the city of Tyumen, were preparing a terrorist attack. There were two improvised explosive devices and parts for making IEDs, two Kalashnikov assault rifles and ‘religious literature’ at their home, according to the regional Investigative Committee. The pair, who are suspected of having links with the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) were killed on Friday night in a firefight with FSB operatives, who came to arrest them.
