No final decision has been made on the date and place of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. “I can confirm that preparations for the meeting are underway,” he told reporters on Monday. “As soon as there is full clarity on the date and place of the meeting, we will inform you,” he added. “We can’t provide any specific information at the moment,” TASS quoted the Russian presidential spokesman as saying. An earlier report by South Korea’s Yonhap news agency said, citing sources in Moscow, that Kim might visit Russia next week for “the Russia-North Korea summit in the Far Eastern city of Vladivostok.”
