Advisers to Putin, Trump discuss Russia-US ties in Moscow, summit issue not raised
Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov has held a meeting with special assistant to the US President, Senior Director for European and Russian Affairs on the US National Security Council staff Fiona Hill. The US adviser arrived in Moscow for consultations on Thursday, and a meeting was held in the presidential administration, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. The two presidents’ advisers discussed “bilateral relations issues,” Peskov added. The issue of a potential meeting between presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump was not raised, according to the spokesman.
