The political economist Prof. Dr. Kai-Alexander Schlevogt is a globally recognized expert in strategic leadership and economic policy, with a special focus on innovation, transformation and crisis management in high-growth markets, particularly China and Russia. He works as Presenter, Chief Economic Correspondent and Columnist of RT DE. He served as Full University Professor at the Graduate School of Management (GSOM), St. Petersburg State University (Russia), where he held the University-Endowed Chair in Strategic Leadership. He also held professorships at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Peking University. Prof. Schlevogt also worked as Area Orchestrator and Educator for Duke Corporate Education (CE), the world’s leader in custom executive education. Additionally, he served as strategic management consultant for McKinsey & Co. in Greater China, helping the Malaysian Prime Minister to develop an electronic government, and as a Fellow of the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), establishing an Asia hub in Shanghai. "Prof. Kai" is the author of six books, including "The Art of Chinese Management" (Oxford University Press), "The Innovation Honeymoon" (Pearson Prentice Hall) and "Brave New Saw Wave World" (Pearson/FT Press), as well as over two hundred additional publications.
