With the war in Ukraine and the pummeling of Gaza usurping most of the airtime, the world has been almost oblivious to the violence in Sudan, where the levels of destruction have led to the worst displacement and humanitarian crisis in the world. Efforts to mediate have produced few results and at times smacked of extortion. Who and what can bring it to a close?
