Putin puts Medvedev candidacy for PM before parliament

After the swearing-in ceremony at the Kremlin, President Vladimir Putin formally nominated current chair of the Russian government, Dmitry Medvedev, to retain his post. The candidacy is to be confirmed by the Russian parliament.
