Several horses and a small pony have disrupted traffic and scared residents after fleeing their stable in the Siberian city of Tyumen. The adventures of the runaways were caught on video.

The frightened animals were spotted in several parts of the city, with some galloping into traffic and forcing drivers hit emergency brakes, while the others calmly browsed outside apartment blocks.

The owners of the horses quickly noticed the breakout and captured them a few hours later, with the assistance of veterinary services. Tracking them down was a fairly easy task as all the animals had microchips.

The police said it had no plans to prosecute the owners as the escaped horses didn’t cause any injuries or material damage.
