Apartment in Russia burns as firetruck gets stuck in the mud (VIDEO)
An apartment was in flames and the firefighters were just 20 meters away – but couldn’t help as their truck was stuck in the mud. The alarming yet hysterical incident was caught on film.
Spring is a messy time in Russia as the Sun begins to melt away the tons of snow on the ground. But emergency workers from the city of Kirov, 800km east of Moscow, failed to keep that in mind and found themselves in an embarrassing situation.

Passersby tried to help push the massive six-wheel truck out of the mud, but to no avail.
Luckily, the residents of the building were evacuated in time and the incident led to no fatalities or injuries.
The blaze was eventually put out by other fire brigades, but one apartment on the 6th floor suffered significant damage. As for the truck that got stuck, it took several hours of hard work to set it free.
