More US-made Ukrainian armor destroyed – MOD (VIDEO)

A Bradley infantry fighting vehicle was caught by a Russian drone in Kharkov Region, Moscow’s military has said

Russian forces in Ukraine’s Kharkov Region have tracked down and destroyed a US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle operated by Kiev’s troops, the Defense Ministry in Moscow reported on Monday.

A short clip posted by the ministry showed a burning wreck, which it said was all that remained after a first-person view drone intercepted the vehicle on the move. The Western-donated platform was the “latest taken out of order” by Russia, the statement said.

Russian troops have been present in Kharkov Region since mid-March. The operation was touted by Moscow as a response to regular Ukrainian drone and artillery attacks on Russia’s neighboring Belgorod Region.

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has claimed that Kiev’s incursion in Russia’s Kursk Region, which it launched last month, was meant to prevent a Russian occupation of Kharkov, as well as Sumy, another major Ukrainian city. Russian officials have denied having any such plans.

The US has donated hundreds of M2 Bradley IFVs to support Ukraine’s war effort against Russia as part of its massive program of military assistance. At least a third of them had reportedly been destroyed or heavily damaged as of this summer.

Moscow has warned that no amount of Western aid can alter the outcome of the Ukraine conflict. By throwing more weapons at Kiev, the US and its allies simply make the cost of the hostilities higher, turning the crisis into a fight “to the last Ukrainian,” Russian officials have said.
