"No one will live our lives for us"

“Medvedev is giving everybody a chance to get involved in the planning of future policies for Russia,” pointed out Sergey Utkin from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations.

Another Russian expert Vladimir Pligin, from the Russian State Duma considers the President’s article as an “invitation to all Russian citizens to a discussion.”

“The President of Russia indicated that the attitude of the Russian citizens will be included in his statement to be delivered to Federal Parliament next month,” said Pligin, ”The President raised very important points and expects an active participation of the citizens in this discussion.”
