MD officer’s murder charge for executing handcuffed detainee
Mike Papantonio and Trial Lawyer magazine editor Farron Cousins rip open industrial giants like 3M and DuPont after studies have shown PFAS chemicals from companies like these have seeped into “virtually all major drinking water sources” in the US. Also, a company called NewsGuard claims to be able to protect audiences from ‘fake news’, while being funded by pharmaceutical companies. Plus, ‘Pharma Bro’ Martin Shkreli is again facing accusations of predatory price-fixing, this time for his patented drug Daraprim, which is used to prevent malaria.
Then, former DC metro police officer Ronald Hampton talks about the murder of William Green while he was handcuffed and detained in the front of Corporal Michael Owen Jr.’s squad car in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Why wasn’t the corporal wearing a body camera when he fatally shot Green seven times?
Finally, legal journalist Mollye Barrows spotlights a compound uncovered by the FBI in Macon County, Alabama. Designed to arm and train young recruits to become terrorists, the training ground was led by Siraj Wahhaj, who had been arrested previously in New Mexico for spearheading a similar compound found there in March 2019.
