Richard Wolff – America’s social safety net at risk

On tonight’s Big Picture, Thom Hartmann talks with Richard Wolff about Trump’s proposed budget, which would slash deeply into America’s social safety net, with the unemployed and other vulnerable citizens the main victims. Then, he talks with Horace Cooper and Sam Sacks about how the budget would increase defense spending, as well as the announcement to move Carrier jobs to Mexico despite Trump’s promise to keep them in the US, and the Department of Interior’s move to remove climate change language from some of its documents.
