Wolff on Puerto Rico, Brexit turbo charger for gold

With gold trading at $1375 dollars an ounce, UBS strategist Joni Teves says gold is more compelling than ever while Wells Fargo strategist John LaForge thinks the gold run is over. Elsewhere, a closely watched gauge of non-manufacturing activity in the US shows the economy growing at its fastest pace in seven months. Ameera David has the details. Boom Bust’s Bianca Facchinei then reports that sea routes into Europe continue to be used by criminal human smuggling gangs. Around 4,500 refugees and migrants were saved by the Italian Coast Guard on Tuesday. RT correspondent Marina Portnaya outlines the US federal regulators’ investigation into Tesla's self-driving software after a man in Florida was killed while operating his Tesla Model S in auto-pilot mode.

After the break, Ameera sits down with University of Massachusetts-Amherst Professor Emeritus Richard Wolff to discuss the desperate fiscal and economic situation in Puerto Rico. And in the Big Deal, Ameera and Edward Harrison discuss currency volatility resulting from the Brexit vote in the UK.
