Putin is ready to cut oil production

As the number of coronavirus cases has officially reached 1 million, cruise ships with infected passengers on board have docked in Florida in the latest twist in the saga at sea. Plus, as global movement has been restricted due to lockdowns, the US government and central bank have continued stimulus measures to mitigate the impact of job losses as business comes to a halt. Meanwhile, Google has released massive amounts of data which provide a pretty clear look at where people are going and staying during the global virus outbreak. President Vladimir Putin announced on Friday that Russia is ready to cut oil production as long as other major producers follow suit, as the oil price war between Russia and Saudi Arabia sends the commodity plummeting.
