Global antitrust efforts have scored a major win in Europe as France has hit Google with a huge fine over its advertising practices. And, G7 nations agreed to support a global minimum corporate tax to prevent multinational companies from dodging taxes by parking profits in low tax countries. Plus, China’s import numbers have surged as the world has begun to recover from the economic damage of the Covid-19 pandemic.
