Kidnapped by imperialism, weaponized border drones, FBI infiltrates Wikileaks

On this episode of Breaking the Set, Abby Martin calls attention to the US’ overstepping of authority by ordering the plane of Bolivian President Evo Morales to land on mere suspicion it was harboring Edward Snowden inside. Abby then highlights a few overlooked stories including Guantanamo prisoners being force-fed despite their hunger strike, US Customs and Border Patrol considering arming drones on the border, and North Carolina’s State Senate sneaking anti-abortion amendments into a bill that would ban Sharia Law in the state. Abby then talks to Tangerine Bolen, founder of Revolution Truth, about the case of Siggi Thordarson, a former Wikileaks staffer who was also an FBI informant, and what this could mean for Julian Assange. BTS wraps up the show with an interview with Peter Lance, award winning investigator and author of ‘Deal with the Devil’, about the relationship between the FBI and the Mafia’s Gregory Scarpa, who over the span of 30 years committed multiple crimes including murder, all while being paid upwards of 1 million dollars by the FBI.
