Nuland out: So what’s next for Ukraine?

0:00
26:9

On this episode of Direct Impact, Rick Sanchez discusses the perhaps earth-shattering, to Ukraine at least, resignation of Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland. Nuland was the architect behind the 2014 Maidan Coup in Ukraine, famously cursing the European Union and handing out cookies to protestors in downtown Kiev. So what is behind her resignation? Does this signal a shift in policy towards Ukraine from the United States and NATO amid continuing Russian victories on the front? Or will US policy maintain its course and continue to allow Ukraine's government to drive itself, and its people, into the ground? Rick is joined by Michael Maloof, a former Pentagon official, and George Szamuely, a senior research fellow at the Global Research Institute to discuss.
